A-1 Flood Tech dries a hotel in
Pentagon City, Virginia
Greg Orndorff and his team from A-1 Flood Tech, our Manassas, Virginia Water
Out® members, are handling a loss at a hotel in Pentagon City, Virginia.
A 2” sprinkler pipe broke on the 17th floor of a hotel and ran for 25
minutes, soaking all of the floors below. A -1 Flood Tech is rapidly returning
the rooms to pre-loss conditions.
Great job, Greg!

Tom Ihm of A-1 Flood Tech, our Manassas, Virginia Water Out® members,
sent us some great photos of January water loss projects.
The first was of a middle school job, “We received the call Sunday morning
at 1:30 AM,” Tom explains, “They told us that they had a pipe
break and needed some help. Boy did they. 200,000 gallons of water later we
were able to start to think about drying. The school has a crawl space under
it that had filled completely and the water had actually come up through the
slab. The boiler room had 8 feet of water and about 1 1/2 inches of mud.”
Also, this update from Tom about a water loss they completed recently:
“With all this rain we have been busy. It was an old house with a basement
with about 1500 square ft with 2 1/2 feet of water, old furniture, and a lot
of junk. We left almost everything in place and dried the structure out in
2 days.”
Fantastic work as always, Tom and A-1.
